About Me
I am an experienced Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon with Foot and Ankle subspeciality practice. I currently have a large NHS practice at the London North West University Hospital NHS Trust (Northwick Park and Central Middlesex Hospitals). I perform a wide range of procedures in foot and ankle surgery, including hallux valgus and forefoot surgery, arthroscopic surgery, arthritis, neurological injuries, sports injuries, deformity correction and ankle replacements. I also perform Minimally Invasive Foot and Ankle Surgery (MIS) which is increasingly used to treat a number of common foot conditions. I provide bespoke and specific treatment for heel pain and foot pain, which may not have a surgical solution. I am an expert in managing foot and ankle trauma, including lower leg and ankle fractures and ligament injuries, achilles tendon injuries, midfoot injuries and toe fractures.

I completed my orthopaedic training from the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (Stanmore) training rotation in 2020. I have undertaken full post-CCT fellowships at centres of excellence within the UK, including the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH) in Stanmore, the Royal London Hospital, Kings College Hospital and the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre (NOC) in Oxford. I was awarded the European Foot and Ankle Society (EFAS) travelling fellowship, and I learned about modern and cutting-edge techniques from highly reputable centres in Greece, Italy, Switzerland and France. I am a fellow of the British and European Foot and Ankle Societies (BOFAS and EFAS).
I am actively involved and enthusiastic about research and have a large number of peer-reviewed publications. I have previously won the prizes for my work and regularly present my work nationally and internationally. I have authored book chapters in two Orthopaedic textbooks and completed a Masters degree with distinction in Trauma and Orthopaedics at UCL. I am committed to improving the service within which I work, and I have been involved in numerous audits and quality improvement projects.

I am passionate about teaching and I am the education lead for the trauma and orthopaedic department across the entire London North West University Hospital (LNWH) Trust. I am also the Clinical Tutor for Imperial College Medical students at Northwick Park Hospital. I have organised and been a faculty member on a number of FRCS teaching courses, and been an examiner at postgraduate and undergraduate examinations.

In my spare time, I enjoy watching and playing sport, particularly rugby, cricket and football. I have run marathons and half-marathons previously and regularly raise money for charity. I live with my wife and 3 children in North West London.
