Below is a summary of some of the treatments I provide. However, there are many conditions I treat that may not be listed. Please contact us if you have a specific query or problem and would like further information.

Hallux Valgus
Hallux Valgus is a condition where there is a painful bony prominency in the foot which hurts when wearing shoes and performing activity.

Mortons Neuroma
Mortons Neuroma is a painful condition that presents with the feeling of walking on 'stones' or 'marbles.' It can be very painful when wearing narrow shoes and walking barefoot.

Heel Pain
Heel pain can occur from conditions such as Plantar Fasciitis, Achilles tendinopathy and stress fractures. It causes a pain and stiffness which affects daily life.

Arthritis in the foot
Arthritis in the foot can occur in the big toe, and also in the middle of the foot. This is also termed hallux rigidus when it occurs in the big toe. This causes pain and stiffness and can sometimes lead to painful bony prominences on the top of the toe or foot.

Painful flat feet
Flat feet are common in all age groups. However they can sometimes be painful and they can cause pain in the inside of the foot or around the ankle.

High Arch Foot
A high arch foot can be normal in a number of individuals. However if can cause pain in certain patients, and cause deformity of the lesser toes.

Lesser toe and Nail problems
Lesser toe deformity can be very debilitating and sometimes needs surgical correction. Ingrown Toe nails are the most common condition affecting the nails in the feet, These may need surgery to stop recurrent infections.

Ankle Sprains
Lateral Ligament Injuries and ankle sprains are common after sports and other activities. They are often treated successfully with good physiotherapy, but can sometimes need surgery to stabilise the ankle

Ankle Arthritis
Ankle arthritis is a painful condition which can affect quality of life and limit functional activities. It can be treated with ankle fusion or replacement.

Achilles tendon problems
Achilles tendinopathy is pain in the tendon behind the ankle. It can be very painful and stiff. It can be treated through a variety of methods. Achilles tendon rupture (after trauma) needs specialist treatment in a boot or sometimes needs surgery

Fractures to Foot and Ankle
Injuries around the foot and ankle include ankle fractures, calcaneal fractures, midfoot fractures and toe fractures.
